Connect the services your team works with.

Understand what each connection does, where to set it up, and what to check before using it with customers.

Google and Microsoft email

Connect Google Workspace, Gmail, Microsoft 365, or Outlook mailboxes in System settings → Email accounts & inboxes. Personal accounts belong to the connecting user; team inboxes are shared with assigned teammates and authorized administrators. Provider setup and your permissions determine which choices are available.

  • Save the mailbox, then authorize the intended account with Google or Microsoft.
  • Check the connection status and sending identity before sending customer email.
  • A mailbox connection does not enable Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar synchronization.
Follow the email setup guide

Google Drive and Google Docs templates

Connect Drive from Quotes → Document templates to create or import company document templates. This is separate from Gmail authorization. Soffyt uses files it creates or that are selected for it, rather than requesting access to the entire Drive.

  • Use Choose from Drive to import through the account that made the connection.
  • Edit in Google Docs, then refresh the preview and publish in Soffyt.
  • Compare the published and filled customer documents before use; changing the source alone does not publish an update.

Stripe payments

Connect the company’s Stripe account through Stripe payments settings. Collection depends on the account’s mode, readiness, and the services enabled for your workspace. The current Connect checkout supports USD card payment of the remaining issued invoice balance. Review the confirmed receipt in Soffyt before treating an invoice as paid.

  • Confirm the account identity and live or test mode before collection.
  • Test mode does not collect money, but test receipts can change workspace balances and reports.
  • Payment processing fees are separate from the Soffyt subscription.

Google Maps and address search

Where Maps is configured, address search helps find a job location and map views help the team understand the property. Review the selected address before saving it. Map access does not mean route optimization, live technician tracking, or external calendar synchronization is enabled.

CSV imports

Import data brings customers and linked opportunities, projects, or service tickets from a CSV export into Soffyt. It is a reviewed import, not ongoing synchronization with the original CRM. Existing records are not overwritten, and ambiguous matches require review.

A different system or connection problem

Tell us the systems involved, which information should move, the direction of the transfer, and how often it should happen. For an existing connection, include its displayed status and error. Availability of a provider in the product does not mean it is configured for every company.
